Picture Book Package

​

All I need is one consultation with you to hear and discuss your ideas, a basic plot outline, and you can leave the rest to me. With this package, you will receive:

• One creativity session to discuss plot, characters, themes, and more!

• Weekly to monthly progress reports, depending on the length of your book.

• One round of edits and suggestions after receiving the first draft of the complete book.

• A final meeting to review any edits that have been made. 

• If needed, a consultation to discuss pictures and placement, as well as picture descriptions for your illustrator.

• A complete book written from start to finish, whether rhyming or prose.

Middle Grade Package

​

If you are wanting a book for ages 8-12, this is the package for you! Think The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe or Charlotte's Webb. For this package, we will discuss the plot, characters, and themes of the novel. You will receive:

• A creativity session where we discuss plot, characters, chapter titles, themes, and more!

• Weekly progress reports where you have the opportunity to review and help shape the book to match your vision.

• If needed, a consultation to discuss pictures and placement.

• The children's novel of your dreams.

Who is behind every great writer? An editor who can support them, give feedback, and look out for any errors along the way.

Academic Editing

You have a written essay, research paper, or dissertation but need to make sure your form is correct, your thoughts make sense, and there are no grammar or spelling mistakes.

Form Editing ($40/10 pages)

• AP or MLA style

• Ensure that every portion of the paper is written within the guidelines of the style, including your institution's requirements.

  • Font, Titles, Page Numbers, Headings, Works Cited/References, In Text Citations, Grammar, Punctuation, etc.​

Developmental Editing (Essays/Research Papers $20/10 pages, Dissertations $30/10 pages)

• Enhance your paper with engaging sentences, well-thought out paragraphs, and a consistent flow that makes sense to the reader.

• Sections that need to be rearranged will be marked and suggestions for sentence flow will be made.

Creative Editing

You have a fictional book, memoir, short story, or poem already written, and are ready to have it published - but wait! Before you get there, you need an experienced pair of eyes to help shape and fashion your story so it's ready to go to the publisher.

Memoirs/Non-fiction ($50/1,000 words)

YA/Adult Fiction ($35/1,000 words)

Picture Books ($1,500 per book)

Children's Fiction ($30/1,000 words)

Short Stories ($1,000 per story)

Poems ($100 per poem)

Here are the services I offer for every type of written work:

• Check for plot holes and offer solutions.

• Correction of grammar, spelling, and fact errors.

• Suggest areas that need more information and written ideas of what to add.

• Rearrange the text, if needed, to ensure understanding.

• Consultations on how to achieve the message you want your audience to hear.

• Cut unnecessary words, sections, etc. to achieve your goals for the text.

• Ensure all content is acceptable and allowable according to copyright laws.

• Shaping the format and layout for the best representation of your work.
